Holy Week Services and Easter Celebration
Holy Tenebrae Service: Wednesday: April 16
"Tenebrae" is Latin for "darkness" or "shadows".
This is a meditative service of music and readings as we extinguish candles to symbolize the darkness of Jesus' crucifixion.

Maundy Thursday, April 17
We remember when Jesus washed his disciples' feet at the Last Supper and gave a new commandment to love one another.
"Maundy" comes from the Latin word "Mandatum" meaning "commandment".

Good Friday, April 18
This solemn service includes 5th-century prayers for the church, all nations, all who suffer, the spreading of the Gospel, and for God's grace. We offer a time for participants to offer silent, spoken, or written prayers at the foot of the cross.
7 pm Service with Veneration of the Cross at Christ Church.

Easter Vigil, April 19
Easter begins at sunset on Saturday with this glorious celebration of the Resurrection of Christ! We will light the Paschal fire and join choirs from St. Cross and St. Francis in hymns and chants.
7:30 pm at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church with the lighting of the paschal fire, baptisms, and Holy Eucharist.
